This piece is painted on recycled cradled wood panel that I purchased at a thrift store ( I think it said something like - the most treasured things are not things) and is very heavy. I started painting this panel as a landscape, and since I am not a landscape painter I hated it! So I gessoed over it and here she is. The very first art show I was ever accepted to was with this piece, and she received an honorable mention award!
