HUMXN is a Florida-born Latino artist with Cuban and Haitian roots, whose creative journey is deeply influenced by his family's artistic legacy. A third-generation artist, he grew up immersed in art, learning anatomy, technology, and sciences from his grandfather and drawing inspiration from his father's passion for Cubism, Surrealism, and unconventional thinking.
After graduating from a high school art magnet program, HUMXN apprenticed under renowned builder and muralist BlackBrain, gaining hands-on experience in the art world. Although he pursued higher education at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, he left to focus on real-world applications of his craft following the passing of his grandfather.
HUMXN's work reflects his unique perspective as a child of immigrants, blending traditional knowledge, avant-garde influences, and personal experiences. His passion for exploring the intersections of humanity, art, and the environment positions him as a powerful and fresh voice in contemporary art.
