Born and raised in New York City and now based in Elyria, Ohio, Consuelo holds a B.A. in Arts with a concentration in Web Programming, Digital Media, and Graphic Design. She's also been published in The Best of 3d Design by Rockport Publishing. Consuelo, also known as Connie, has contributed to several community art mural projects and middle / high school theater productions as a scenic and prop designer. Consuelo is also an active member of The Cleveland Haunt Club, where she creates sculptural art inspired by the Halloween genre, which has been featured in various television and online media. She also has a whimsical mural on display at the downtown Elyria Public Library. And in summer 2025, she will be one of four juried artists featured in the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts , Oberlin Chalk Walk, where she will create a live chalk mural. Consuelo Yuisa Deus invites viewers to step into her colorful world—where culture meets imagination, and every piece tells a story.
