Mixed media installation comprised to two furniture pieces; a birdcage and claw and ball stand with tree branch. Each piece of furniture has a small video monitor which plays a looped image of a budgie. The caged budgie remains on the perch moving slightly back and forth. The budgie video on the branch is motion activated by anyone approaching the work, so that the bird flies away off screen.
