Something as simple as four pears can be quite creative. This was done as a painting demonstration to illustrate how four similar shapes can still excite the viewer. To accomplish this, your eye is drawn to the left. Tthe red pear is warmer than the cooler green pears. The yellowish pear is warm also, but it is not as strong as the red. Setting them against a simple texture, greyed background helped to bring them forward.
