Mystery Layers

The 7th and Final piece in my collection is called Mystery Layers. This 12x16 inch box canvas, represents the Layers you have to be willing to take off in life, if you desire to be totally Liberated. I allowed fear and a belief that I had to be fully qualified as an artist, to paint, to strip me of years of enjoyment and creativity. Taking off the layers, allowed me to say in paint ,what I felt unable to share in words. Sometimes you have to go beneath the surface of a thing, to find the deeper issues, that need to be sorted or dealt with. 
 
If you stare long enough at Mystery Layers, you begin to see images , colours and shapes that seemed hidden. There is always more to you , than meets the eye. It may take a life time to reveal it all, but if you take the time, and apply the lessons life brings to you, who knows what will be revealed. Appreciate who you are at every level, and never stop being who you were truly created to be.
