Whilst paint journaling my emotions concerning a life changing event, I created In between, for my New Beginnings collection.

In between represented that moment when I had to choose which way I wanted to direct my feelings ,actions, and life. Should I stay angry , hostile, wounded isolated,introverted , and scheming revenge , or should I breathe out, let it go, move on ,and seek peace and balance?

The first version of In between was light and non committal, and as I stepped back and viewed it , I knew that as beautiful as the pastel colours were , this stage of In between was incomplete.

For the next stage of my journey I would need to stand out, make bold decisions , remove myself from the blended muted background I had become comfortable in. I would be visible, vulnerable, bold and present.

I’m Between- a place of reflective and beautiful decision making.
