This painting depicts a dead fish on top of it's purchased bag, there's a artificial light source facing him from above the red clock. The Vibrant colors are the strongest and most prevalent part of this piece and truly shows how I can handle the value and contrast of colors and it's complements. I enjoy painting aquatic life, they can be painting so delicately in order to show their scales and it's shine even out of the water. Fish can be great tests of application when it comes to creating and telling the viewer there is texture and light within this setting.
