While still in the darkness of March, I was working on other prints in the garden series, and a friend brought us a huge pink azalea on a wintery evening. This big ball of glorious pink sat like a sun in our dining room, throwing rays of spring and joy around the room. Inevitably, it crept through my subconscious and became this image.
