BENEATH THE BLOOM is my way of honoring the quiet complexities of the Mississippi Delta—the beauty that draws you in, and the deeper truths that live just under the surface. Cotton fields have always held more than what meets the eye.
In this series, “The Quiet That Lingers” is the most abstract of the three—a piece that feels like memory itself: layered, elusive, and still present.
This series is my love letter to the Delta fields I know so well. It’s about what we see… and what we feel beneath it.
