These pieces were created using alternate printmaking and drawing methods that I learned from artist Jeffrey Hirst. It differs from my usual painting practice which uses encaustic. These works on paper are created in a muti-step process that involves cutting and piecing different prints together then reworking the results with various materials including acrylic paints, tinted Spackle, silkscreen, to create dense layered abstractions.
