inspired by plein air painting event for Harmony Arts in West Vancouver - with several artists working in the forest and on the mountainside above Vancouver. The unique red-barked Arbutus ( N America's only Eucalypt) glows against a backdrop of dark conifers. The mosses and lichens create a carpet of color and texture across the face of the granite bluff.
