A Brussels Griffon—a highly intelligent breed of dog known for its warm-heartedness and near-human facial expressions—is here hybridized with a young man in his twenties, a composer, who is himself (as artist) a hybrid, creating music that is a fusion of avant-garde, Parisian jazz, and folk. The goat-hair wig references Beethoven (and all classic composer busts) of the sort that would typically appear on the piano in a salon of centuries past.
The pedigree of this chimera is superb: the young man comes from a long line of classical composers and musicians; the dog is highly socialized. Easily transported, itself, into a state of aesthetic bliss, the Griffon-Man is bred for cathartic efficiency and musicality.
