Dante's Inferno

These new works incorporate a few ideas I've had recently regarding natural disasters. I wanted to incorporate the very fine lines I use in my paintings with a partially naturalistic landscape theme. At present busy working on this 120cm x 150cm painting which utilises many of my painting techniques such as glazing and thick under-painting. One of the paintings where the influence of William Turner is clearly evident. My first version which is quite small was recently sold to a private collector.
