In this artwork the shape of the parol (a traditional Filipino lantern often seen during the holidays, a reference to the North Star used for navigation) is recreated in 3D software. Once inside the software program the shading and coloring determines the filters of the LED lights for the artwork.

An animation of the star rotating is done in the software and 8 frames of the rotation are sliced and put together, compressing frames of time. This composition is used for the artwork structure to express movement, energy, and time.
