I continued the assassination series started in Dubai with "A Moment Defined By A Point And A Line (Ninoy Aquino)" whose murder in 1983 led to demonstrations and sustained civil resistance that resulted in the departure of President Marcos.
In this sculpture the trajectory of the bullet that killed Ninoy is described with a light intersecting a clear acrylic block (it entered from the back of the head below the left ear and out through his chin). It freezes a violent moment in time, a pivotal moment in Philippine history, and reduces it to light and geometry.
