My current abstract paintings are focused on identity and the tension between freedom and the need to belong. Specifically, I explore the way internal and external pressures in our lives shape what we think of ourselves and how our imperfections add color to how we are perceived by others/perceive ourselves. I use bold colors and imaginative compositions to command attention and to remind collectors to fully embrace themselves as worthy of love and belonging.
