The large, flattened pink flowerheads of the Lacecap Hydrangea Hortensia are bold and beautiful against the lush background of wide, dark green serrated leaves. In contrast, the central set of small florets, their pollination structures laid bare after the sepals have fallen, cast otherwordly shapes in the shadows.
