What an honor to be commissioned by Jim Kwik to create a sculpture and painting from the BLUEBELL COLLECTION depicting elements of his life. Jim Kwik is a renowned brain coach, speaker, and author who is known for his expertise in the field of accelerated learning, memory improvement and brain optimization.
I opted to have Bell (the dragon) lying in a hammock surrounded by all their favorite things.
- Bell wearing a t-shirt with a brain engraved (a staple of Jim Kwik’s wardrobe)
- Bell eating an ice cream cone, holding a cellphone with a podcast logo on it and earphones
- Bell is wearing a superhero cape and from the cape a happy dauphin is seen playing in the “waves.”
- Jax, one of their dogs, is looking nervous, holding a popcorn bucket, spilling the popcorn with his usual shaking, sitting on a stalk of his favorite books
- Rocky, their other dog is playful, looking up at a squirrel
- the pyramids of Giza, a beautiful reminder of one of their favorite places
- a teasing squirrel holding a watermelon, his wife favorite pregnancy food.
- finally, a stork bringing a beautiful, healthy baby boy
This was a fun, intricate, challenging painting to create. I am very happy with the result and the Instagram post that she posted regarding this painting was very touching!
