My artistic journey began in a private studio, where what started as a simple pastime soon revealed itself to be a lifelong passion. That spark led me to enroll in the three-year Fine Arts program at the Ottawa School of Art — a decision that marked the true beginning of my professional path.
Over the years, I sought every opportunity to deepen my understanding of the craft. I studied with inspiring artists such as Richard MacDonald and Christina Mikulasek, and later attended the Florence Academy of Art’s summer program in Florence, Italy. I was also privileged to apprentice with a Master Sculptor for 2 years. Those experiences helped me refine my classical foundation — something I felt was essential before allowing my own style and imagination to fully take flight.
Nearly three decades later, I still approach each new creation as a chance to grow. I never wish to remain still within a single style; instead, I aim to evolve with every piece, always reaching for new levels of expression and mastery.
