This wonderful object has been around as long as I have been pursuing art and beauty as a way of life. There are so many memories, so many rolls of film, so many hours in the darkroom, so many different places… there is just so much history encompassed in this one object. As I was painting it in my studio, I could easily remember the places I've been, and the people whose pictures I'd taken along the way. I'm fascinated at how the objects can draw us back into our memories, at how much life these simple objects can bring to us.
