A whale made out of wood, or a tree in the shape of a whale, lays atop and against a bunch of colourful mushrooms, flowers and some other elements from the plant Kingdom. Some little creatures happily float around, as if they had been resting on top or forming part of the branches, that can be understood as the tail of the whale, and are now taking off, getting in motion, disipating. The whole scene, which spans across the entirety of the canvas, contrasts ideas of clarity and cleanliness with clutter and collapse- there are just many things to look at, many possible readings.
The idea expressed is that of subjectivity being the source of multiple interpretations, none of them being the right one, but all of them being right. a sign of appreciation for the capacity of abstraction even in the figurative.
