Reflections on a COVID time.
It seems characteristic of the human condition, to often let moments of beauty pass us by without paying attention. The covid lockdown ( disruptive though it was) gave me, and many like me, the time and space to just be.
This painting emerged from the time I spent at home, watching the fascinating interplay of light and shadow across my living room wall. The afternoon sun trickled her fingers daily across my sofa, the only guest my family and I was allowed.
