"Traces of a printers apron"

I was taking a silkscreening class and as intent as I was in the beginning of the class I was more and more mesmerized and distracted by the paint splattered apron that the teacher was wearing.I could already imagine it in a quilt. Soon my notetaking stopped and I was determined to try to exchange my pristine black apron for the paint splattered one. At the end of the class I gathered my courage and explained my idea to the teacher. It worked! I left the class with my new colorful apron . I promptly forgot the technicalities of silkscreening but was overjoyed with the future quilt that would include the painted apron. The start of the Traces series began...
