Dream Catcher

Often I dream about my youth in Blaricum, The Netherlands. I grew up riding our little Shetland ponies around town, through the forests and sand dunes. Having a picnic with our ponies and my friends, is such a great memory, we had nothing to worry about.
Our surrounding forests where mainly birch trees, those white bark trees with the yellowish leaves. The trees and the little paths we explored, and far mostly that happy adventurers feeling, that’s what this painting is about.
