Paintings by John Chapman Lewis (1920-95) are in the Phillips Collection and the Smithsonian American Art Museum in D.C. as well as in other institutions. Lewis taught art at the Corcoran and exhibited in six of its Biennials. Donated by IRC resident Mary R. (Bean) Granger.
