The original sheet music of "Yes! We Have No Bananas" (1923) and seventeen reproductions of sheet music cover pages from the Sam DeVincent Collection in the archives of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. The earliest are the “Soda Fountain Set,” 1897, “In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree,” 1905, and “I Met My Love in a Restaurant” and “Hello! Peaches,” both from 1907. Many of the others were published in the 1920s. The latest are Irving Berlin’s “Let’s Have Another Cup of Coffee...,” 1932, and “Dinner for One Please, James,” 1935. Acquisition from the Smithsonian was facilitated by IRC resident Cooby Greenway.
