The trail from Mt Crackenback to Mt Kosciusko winds through some breathtakingly beautiful scenery. A landscape dotted with boulders and covered with snow tolerant vegetation in shades of green, grey and reds, scattered with flowers of pinks and yellows, and a water course of clear, melting snow trickeling over rocks and between boulders. Memories of this walk were still fresh in my mind as I created this fragmented landscape.
