Sadekaronhes Esquivel is a Kanien’kehà:ka/Mexican Indigenous artist, writer, game developer and co-owns a small multi-media business, Rising Sons Media, with their brother Teiorhathe. Sadekaronhes uses the mediums of illustration and games to craft worlds and stories to further imaginative futures and possibilities for greater Native representation in pop culture. Sadekaronhes currently resides in the Duwamish homelands of the Greater Seattle area. He comes from a family of artists, writers, beaders, painters, and regalia crafters.

Sadekaronhes’ professional projects: Artistic Lead/Lead Concept Artist, Indigenous CyberNoir Detective game, “Hill Agency: PURITY / decay” (PC on Steam). Concept Artist, past titles: Blacklight: Retribution, Blacklight: Tango Down, SAW [video game], SAW II: Flesh & Blood. Comic Artist/Writer: Indigenous comic anthologies MOONSHOT VOL3, “Quiet Nights” in A HOWL: The Indigenous Werewolf anthology. Illustrator: contributed to the Kickstarter hit Indigenous Science Fantasy tabletop role-playing game; “Coyote & Crow”. Writer: Character bios for the Water Tribe Legends Characters and helped develop a new canon Water Tribe character in the Avatar Legends table top role-playing game from Magpie Games.

Previous experience as a Volunteer EMT/Firefighter for the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Worked with SpEd students in Eastern Washington and taught afterschool art classes. Was involved in non-profit outreach with the Native community in the Greater Seattle area during the covid pandemic response.
