Fresco Stacks are 3 dimensional fresco pieces made up of the stacked marble plates and crowned with a plate carrying a fresco. It’s initial form is a perfect cube. It is up to the designer, curator or collector to set the positioning twist which can be rearranged at will and at any time. This is a unique and literally physical way to involve curator, designer and collector into the creation and the life of the piece of art. Donald Judd said that the space between his pieces is part of his sculpture – the actions/input of the person who has the piece is part of mine.
