This image is from a trip to Capri. I know...surprisingly, me (who loves to paint water) did not include it in this painting! But I wanted to focus on the brilliance of the morning glories on this day. These were on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. The sky was hazy that day due to fires on Vesuvius, so it gave the background a mystical quality.
