Artist: Dan Way
Daniel Way M.D., a native of Glens Falls, NY, practiced rural family medicine in the Adirondack Park for thirty-seven years as a member of the Hudson Headwaters Health Network. He retired with his wife, Dr. Harriet Busch, also a retired Family Doctor for Hudson Headwaters, in May 2017, to devote more time to his growing number of grandchildren and his artistic interests.
Way is also a noted photographer and author, having published three books of illustrated patient vignettes that venerate the doctor-patient relationship and describes the joys and frustrations of practicing rural primary care in Upstate New York’s Adirondack Park.
When acquiring new art, Hudson Headwaters seeks pieces that contribute to the ongoing creative culture of our community. Local and regional artists are always given first consideration.
