My intention in making this installation was to create a myriad of intriguing shaped pieces created from an unfamiliar material.  I created collages on vinyl that were then carefully cut into strips and woven together on a loom.  The woven work was then stiffened and cut into unusual shapes with references to primitive art. The shapes are then arranged into an installation on the wall.
