In this minimal composition colour appears suspended behind opaque and translucent geometric patterns of sandblasting, creating shifted colour shadows as well as reflecting complementary colours back onto the sandblasted pattern.
The artist's love of geometry and exploration of opaque and translucent layers combine to invite the viewer to look closer and delight in the variations presented within this ‘Linear Study’ series of work.
