ARTIST STATEMENT:
I work across several fiber practices and always have multiple pieces in motion. This series grows from a commitment to using the materials already in my workspace. I transformed earlier doubleweave samples, layering them with fabric and beads from my existing collection. The work reflects both resourcefulness and the ongoing evolution of my making process.

TECHNIQUE:
Checkerboard double weave on 8 shafts, embellished with appliqued fabric circles, glass beads, and sequins.

MATERIALS:
20/2 cotton, cotton fabric, glass beads.
