When I think of a horse, I think of Power, strength, freedom, majestical grandeur... Spirit is a testament to this. This however, is not a straight forward representation of the horse form. There are missing pieces, holes, which represent a play of light, shadow and contrast. Giving Spirit a ghost like, untamed appearance, the core and spirit of the beast.

This piece was created from wax and sand casted. Pieces were then welded on to create more suggestions of form and depth and to strengthen the visual concept.
