The mouth of the Bay of Fundy where the Atlantic starts to flow into a channel between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. It was a beautiful day. Bright sunshine and gentle breezes. And here, at this point the currents were strong and the water was quite choppy. I knew I’d be painting this!
This area is not far from Old Sow Whirlpool which is the second-largest tidal whirlpool on earth. Lots of water movement in this area.
The colour and shapes of the water really struck me. The deep shades, soft blues and green and turquoise.
