This painting was a bit of a set up. My friend Dale just happened to be walking along the shore behind the gulls. I just happened to be in position in the front with my camera. Knowing and hoping for a few shots of the gulls in flight.

I wanted to create a painting where the gulls look as if they are flying off the canvas. I think I’ve done that!
