Artist Talk

Thursday 5th Mar 6-7.30pm

I am thrilled and honoured to be selected for a solo exhibition at the new Hume Global Learning Centre Gallery in Sunbury, Victoria. This exhibition has been inspired by my reaction to seeing the quilt-like grid and crop circles from the plane window between Colorado and Louisiana on a recent trip to the USA. President Thomas Jefferson created a system of surveying land from a distance on paper. This man-made system was imposed on a natural landscape with at times devastating effect on First Nations people, biodiversity and soil quality.

The exhibition will include quilts, embroideries and drawings and all work will be for sale via the artist.
