Amazon Expedition - book Exploring the Amazon by Helen and Frank Schreider - published National Geographic Society 1970 - After a huge rain storm , water covered everything “rain out” sheets of grey water. Then as the clouds parted from the middle of the Amazon. River the water was brown, every color in the sky reflected in the water.
