Texas Tulips from the tulip field in Point Pilot. I went intending to do plain air painting but had to take photos instead because it was so windy. I love capturing the movement in the tulip field and the back of the tulips. The tulips are deep pinks mixed with vibrant reds and bright green leaves.
Red tulips are most strongly associated with true love, while purple symbolizes royalty.
