In October 2024, I went to New Hampshire to Hampton Beach and stayed in a house next door to this view. From our balcony, we had a full view of the Salt Marsh and the manmade water trench mixed with the natural marsh behind it. The reflections of the clouds in the trench were stunning and I wanted to capture them in a painting.
The Salt Marsh is full of life with Great White Egrets dotting the landscape.
