Northwestern style fish original on canvas with metal floating frame. A mix of oils and India inks. Sealed in a satin artist varnish. High quality paints. Created in all dots or small blots to come together as one.
Artists inspiration for this piece came from the 6 years living and exploring the wonders of Central Alaska. Using resemblance of style from the northwest traditional native art seen in Alaska and parts of Canada. The fish and game are not only sacred there, but a necessity for survival in a great many parts and people there. The tradition of using everything with no waste, is still practiced today. Even the bones are used, sometimes sculpted into amazing pieces of art or jewelry. A sure way to lesson impact and preserve the circle of life and Mother Earth ❤️
