This piece was painted in a series (the Koi Pond series)
Painted originally for a gallery show titled “Spring” at the Wheaton Arts parade gallery in the DMV area. The Artist desired target for this spring themed painting was to paint pond life. Imagine a spring morning standing or sitting near a koi pond with hungry Koi looking to be fed and sipping on coffee or your morning tea. The sense of life, and breath and a new season of beginnings for many of earth’s creatures. Take in the moment of these 13 and be open to memories of the everyday things we can take for granted. The world has much life and beauty.
A large painted koi pond (my version) on canvas. Original piece. With high gloss wet look resin. There will NO PRINTS made of the original. Mixed Media, (feathers, oils, pastels, charcoals, inks and art resin). 12 layers of artistic love. Wired for 40 lbs.
