A mix of mediums as per my usual go to. Varnish is satin sheen. This piece would look great framed, but this time I decided to leave it up to the collector for their taste in framing.
Inspiration of the artist is taken from a week stay trip in Red River New Mexico. A quaint little town of a perfect hallmark movie setting. Loved this town! We hiked high in the mountains and smelled all the trees. A great place to feel inspired, and once I returned back to my studio, this painting is the quick result.
Fun Fact:
“ Stand – A group of Aspen trees is called a Stand. In a stand, each tree is a genetic replicate of the other or a “clone.” Large Single Organism – A stand of aspen trees is connected by their roots under the soil. It is the largest single organism, by area, on Earth.”
