The inspiration for this piece came from The Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota. I took a trip this summer, and saw this beautiful scene at sunset right beyond some rocks as I stood on the shore. Water lilies floating on gentle ripples. A white lily flower bobbing with the movement from an almost in perceptible breeze. Beautiful sunset pinks oranges and purples emanating from the sky reflect upon the waters' surface. A moment of Zen and serenity in this world.
