Sharing Dreams is a diptych oil painting created for the collaborative exhibition Meticulous Harmony with glass artist Kristin McFarlane. To bring this vision to life, we worked with photographer Danial A'Vard, who helped capture an image that had lived in my imagination for many months. This piece features both artists: Kristin’s and Heather's hands—a symbolic reflection of connection, creativity, and the joy of working together. Suspended in front of the painting are Kristin’s delicate glass water drops, shimmering with light and life. Water is essential to all living things, and its healing, restorative nature flows through this piece. The drops invite you to pause, reflect, and feel the gentle presence of water—a symbol of growth, renewal, and harmony. Sharing Dreams celebrates the beauty of collaboration—how sharing our dreams set this journey in motion and helped us create something more meaningful together.
