Its fluted body expands like a blooming flower, adorned with Mughal and Persian-inspired floral motifs. The scalloped rim’s openwork adds lightness to the solid structure, while the cylindrical base features finely chased acanthus leaves. A Devanagari inscription denotes the bowl's weight as 105 tolas (approximately 1.23 kilograms) and includes an undeciphered name, likely that of the artisan or workshop. Another inscription reads "Sarkar Nawab Sayyid Hamid Ali Bahadur," referring to Nawab Hamid Ali Khan, ruler of the princely state of Rampur. Renowned for his progressive leadership and patronage of fine craftsmanship, his influence is reflected in this unique piece.
