Time does not announce itself—it gathers quietly, like wind reshaping stone or algae collecting across forgotten surfaces. Passing of Time
explores this gentle accumulation, where textures emerge like
memories surfacing through layers of weathered stillness.
In this piece, translucent veils of blue and soft mineral greens are
interrupted by subtle marks, fragments, and organic forms—each a record of motion and stillness. Some elements have been scraped away, revealing what lies beneath; others have been built up over time, honoring what was once there.
The painting invites viewers to linger in the spaces between erosion and renewal, where nothing is truly lost, only changed. It echoes the slow evolution of desert land after rain, or the quiet surrender of leaves in early frost—an abstract journal of impermanence, presence, and continuity.
