Signature: Artist Statement In this work, I was inspired by the quiet, unseen exchanges between earth and sky. The textures hold traces of what lies beneath, while the upper portions dissolve into a soft openness. I layered cool pigments and translucent washes, allowing the forms to develop like water finding its path. This piece reflects the subtle transformation that occurs when the natural world shifts from one state to another. Flecks of gold serve as markers of change, capturing those rare moments when the ordinary becomes unexpectedly radiant.
